Accessibility statement

Our commitment

ENSOMEDIA, the company behind AccessifyAI, wants accessifyai.de to work for as many visitors as possible, including people using a keyboard, a screen reader, voice control, or a magnified screen. We hold this site to the same standard our own product checks other Shopify stores against.

Standard

We aim for WCAG 2.2 Level AA. It includes every WCAG 2.1 Level AA criterion, which is what EN 301 549 V3.2.1 refers to, the version used today for the European Accessibility Act and national laws such as the German BFSG. EN 301 549 V4.1.1, published in September 2026, moves to WCAG 2.2.

Conformance status

This website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Partially conformant means some content does not yet fully meet the standard; the parts we know about are listed below. We tested with axe-core, a full keyboard walk, and a review of the page structure the way a screen reader presents it (landmarks, headings, labels, roles, and states) on 24 September 2026. The AccessifyAI widget on this site (the button in the corner and the panel it opens) was tested the same day with the same tools, and also at 320 px wide and with increased text spacing.

What we have not fixed yet

• Product screenshots of the app's dashboard and widget carry a written description as alt text, but the small text rendered inside the images themselves cannot be resized, reflowed, or read aloud as real text. That is a limitation of showing a picture of the software rather than the software itself.
• We tested every page template and all four languages (English, German, Polish, French), plus a sample of blog articles in each language. We have not individually re-tested every one of the roughly 150 published articles; they render through the same template and content pipeline we did test.
• Some pages link to services we do not control, including the Shopify App Store, Groq's privacy policy, and our newsletter form, which is hosted by Formspree. Their accessibility is outside this statement.

We prepared this statement on 24 September 2026 and will review it at least once a year, or sooner after a major redesign of the site.

Self-assessment by ENSOMEDIA: automated testing with axe-core against WCAG 2.2 Level AA (which includes the earlier WCAG 2.0 and 2.1 criteria) on every page template, at 1280px and 320px, with and without reduced motion, plus manual testing that included a full keyboard walk of the site and the checks listed above.
